Our project with Sippican Partners is a preschool for 40 children. Sippican built a beautiful building, on time and on budget. They managed a challenging process with a variety of people on the committee giving input. Many building decisions were made during the course of the project, and Sippican helped to make good choices and kept us on schedule. Sippican contributed their experience and knowledge about green construction to create a building with minimal negative environmental impact, which was a priority for us. Our school is well-constructed and beautiful, and is a wonderful home for our preschool children and their families.

I’ve been extremely fortunate in that I’ve been reasonably happy with all of my previous contractors. Yes – Sippican is thoughtful, deliberate and professional but so were the previous contractors I’ve used. What’s amazed me about Sippican is how good they are at working with me to realize my goals and objectives while keeping in within my budget. That is a shockingly rare skill.
Previous contractors did exactly what I asked and I was often left with a bill that was painful and an outcome that I wasn’t happy with because I had not fully thought things through. I’m finding that Sippican does an OUTSTANDING job of helping me understand what I really want and then working with me to achieve those goals in a way that doesn’t kill the budget.
I’ve been amazed at home much time Sippican is willing to invest in the early stages of the project to make sure the outcome is something with which I will be happy.

Building a home from a distance is a tricky thing, but we have had the best experience working with Sippican Partners.
The key has been excellent communication from all parties involved – the contractor, the architect, the construction manager, have all been part of the conversation. Emails, conference calls, videos, Houzz, plus a contractor who takes the time to explain things, and gives encouragement along the way.
The patience of the design team, and their attention to our priorities, has added to the overall experience and increased our confidence that the decision to build at Squam River Landing was definitely the right move.

No matter how much you work with your architect and designers to plan a house, when breaking ground on virgin wooded land in the foothills you are going to have to make adjustments as your builders learn more about what lies beneath. We are very pleased with the way our contractor, Sippican, has worked closely with us and paid close attention to detail throughout the process as progress is made and decisions about alternative approaches are needed. They have a great team, from excavators, to landscapers, to carpentors, to electricians, finishers — plus they coordinate well with the various suppliers and our architect- and us!
